It’s a pleasure to announce that The University of Manchester, one of the country’s leading educational institutions, has recently partnered with Final Stage to help better their student recruitment experience.

The university has recognised the frustration students can face upon applying for graduates jobs, only to be let down after months of assessment centres and interviews. Rather than having to start again from the bottom run of the ladder, this partnership will enable students to have their previous assessment experiences recognised, so that they can use these to push on and secure a similar role.

Through the Final Stage platform, qualifying students will be given direct access to hiring managers at large graduate employers, along with dynamic SME’s who don’t yet have the resources to promote their brands across the university scene.

Final Stage Co-Founder, Eddie De Lewis, says “We’re thrilled to be working with UoM and are well aware of the high level of talent the university produces. The majority of our tech team is made up of former alumni from the university which is fitting. In addition, it’s fantastic to see a local university supporting a local tech company in what is a mutually beneficial opportunity for all.”

The campaign kicked off in February and is off to a flying start with some great candidates benefiting from the platform having had previous experiences with the likes of J.P Morgan, HMRC, BlackRock and IBM to name but a few. It’s the first of its kind to go live in the UK with more universities set to follow suit this term.

The community is completely free to join for both students and employers and we now look to spread the word so that more final year students can benefit.
